Journi2Results maintains a Regulatory/Legislative Department consisting of staff dedicated to tracking all proposed, pending, and active legislative and regulatory developments that are directly proportionate to Journi2Result's and our customers’ business needs. A primary focus of this department is to research privacy and security regulations and legislation on both the federal and state level. We are actively involved in the impact assessment of HIPAA on Journi2Results's business units.

Journi2Results has a Privacy and Security Task Force that incorporates HIPAA and consists of individuals from the following departments: Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Risk Management, Medical, and Business Operations. 

 

Journi2Results is addressing the communication of Privacy and Security laws through a corporate-driven HIPAA Awareness and Compliance Program. This required program consists of education of leadership and colleagues through the Journi2Results intranet, internal newsletters, and, online compliance training (including HIPAA content) that is provided to new colleagues upon hire, and to all colleagues annually. Additionally, Journi2Results supplements this training with face-to-face and/or remote educational programs.
